nicholas.merlo: Nick Merlo was born in New Jersey but grew up in Westford, which is a very small town in northern Vermont. The elementary school he attended is K-8 and it is so small it only has a single hall-way for all of the classrooms. He graduated from Westford Elementary and went on to attend Essex High School. There he played football and baseball and learned that he wanted to work in sports media. He is now a senior at Lyndon State College where he has been a reporter at News 7 for two years. He is also a web producer for news7newslinc.com which is the stations website. When he graduates college he has aspirations to work in the media department for the New York Giants of the National Football League.
